ClosedCandle is built to work without an account. This page explains the small amount of data we do handle.

What we collect

• Without an account: no personal data is required. Your watchlist is stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and never sent to us.
• Weekly report sign-up: your email address, your consent and the time you gave it.
• Contact form: your name, email address and message.
• Optional Google sign-in: your name, email address, profile picture URL and Google account ID. We never receive your Google password. Your watchlist is stored with your account so it syncs across devices.
• Technical data: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie that the site needs to work, and standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested), kept for up to 14 days for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: sending the weekly report you asked for, answering your message, keeping you signed in and syncing your watchlist. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

What we do not do

We never pass personal data on to data brokers or advertisers. We do not connect to exchange accounts or ask for API keys.

Where it is stored

On our own server. Email delivery for the weekly report uses an email delivery provider that processes your address only to deliver the message.

Your choices

• Delete your account at any time from the Account page; this removes your profile, Google sign-in link and watchlist immediately.
• Unsubscribe from the weekly report with the link in every report email.
• Ask us to delete a contact message or sign-up through the contact form.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
